Short History of Vodka
Vodka is said to be developed in the Northern European region, it is unclear whether it was discovered by Russia or Poland as they both claim it was their discovery but popularly. drinking Vodka is more related to Russians. The word derives from the Slavic word for ''water'' essentially making the word Vodka mean ''little water''. There is clear evidence that Vodka was being produced as early as the Middle Ages. Vodka is a combination of water and ethanol purified by distillation, and fermented substance such as potatoes, grain or sugar beet molasses. Usually flavorless (classic) Vodka is a clear, colorless liquid.

4. Chopin vodka is a single-ingredient vodka, 4 times distilled from organic potatoes grown in the Polish region of Podlasie. Seven pounds of potatoes are used to make each bottle of Chopin. The production is made in small batches and under rigorous quality control, to ensure maximum quality. If a taste sampling shows even a small hint of imbalance, the whole batch is destroyed.

5. Absolut is a Swedish vodka, produced at their facilities near Ahus, Scania, in southern Sweden. Introduced in 1879 by the entrepreneur Lars Olsson Smith. Absolut is the third largest brand of alcoholic spirits in the world after Bacardi and Smirnoff. Smith introduced fractional distillation that produces liquor without fusel alcohol in Sweden in 1877. The name was changed to "Absolut Rent Branvin" (Absolutely Pure Vodka) by Smith to market his much improved product. ABV: 40%

The first four distillations of the Ugni Blanc take place in stainless steel column stills; the Mauzac Blanc grapes are distilled in copper continuous stills.
